Here’s some of the things we often get asked. If you can’t find an answer to your question, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

CAN I BRING MY OWN SKATES?

Yes, of course! And if you bring your own, you only pay for ice time.

WHAT RENTAL SKATES DO YOU OFFER?

We have premium CCM rental skates in both ice hockey and figure skate styles, both of which can be hired for $5.

 

WHAT CLOTHES SHOULD I WEAR TO THE RINK?

The ice skating rink is a little bit fresh - but saying that there is a warm kiosk to take the chill factor away, so dress accordingly. Wear warm socks and warm and comfortable clothing. If you plan to be a spectator, feel free to bring a cushion to sit on and a blanket.

 

IS THERE SOMEWHERE TO STORE BELONGINGS?

Unfortunately, the answer is a no for now. We will be installing lockers in the future. In the interim, we have stools/tubs that have room for shoes. Please ensure valuables are left at home for safe keeping.

I'M NOT SKATING, DO I HAVE TO PAY TO ENTER?

Spectators are always welcome to visit and enter for free.

HOW LONG ARE THE SESSION TIMES?

During our general public skate sessions, you can stay as long as you like! Check our timetable for the latest schedule.

 

WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT RINK?

Most options are covered - we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cash payments and EFTPOS.

 

CAN I BRING FOOD TO THE ICE RINK?

No, we do not allow food and drink to be brought it unless you have specific dietary requirements. During public skate times, our kiosk prepares a range of delicious hot/cold food and drinks. We will also soon be opening a cafe and an upstairs bar area.

DO YOU HAVE ANY HELMETS OR PROTECTIVE WEAR?

Yes. We have wrist/elbow and knee guards as well as helmets in various sizes at the skate counter to use FREE of charge whilst skating. Please help yourself and return when finished with.
