At iceHQ, the health, safety and wellbeing of our patrons, staff and visitors is our highest priority. By entering or participating in activities at iceHQ, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions and Conditions of Entry.


Participation and Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that ice skating, skating lessons, figure skating, ice hockey and other sporting and recreational activities conducted at iceHQ are inherently dangerous activities involving physical exertion and a risk of injury.

By participating in activities at iceHQ, you accept the inherent risks associated with these activities and acknowledge responsibility for your own safety and wellbeing. You also acknowledge that some areas or activities may not be directly supervised at all times.

If you do not regularly undertake physical activity, or if you have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, illness or any health concerns, you should seek medical advice before participating in activities at iceHQ.

Participation in activities at iceHQ is undertaken at your own risk. iceHQ is not liable for injury, death, loss or damage arising from the inherent risks associated with ice skating, ice sports and other recreational activities conducted at the venue, except where required by law.


Patron Responsibilities

All patrons must:

  • Follow all venue rules, signage and directions provided by iceHQ staff at all times

  • Behave in a respectful, safe and responsible manner

  • Skate and participate within their personal skill and ability level

  • Show consideration and respect toward staff, coaches, officials and other patrons

  • Avoid dangerous, reckless, aggressive or disruptive behaviour

  • Refrain from using abusive, threatening, discriminatory or inappropriate language or conduct

  • Respect the venue, equipment and property of others

Any behaviour that places the safety or wellbeing of others at risk may result in removal from the venue.


Children and Supervision

Parents and guardians remain responsible for the supervision, behaviour and safety of children attending iceHQ.

Children must follow all staff directions and venue rules at all times.


Right to Refuse Entry or Remove Patrons

iceHQ reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the venue who:

  • behaves in an unsafe, disruptive, aggressive or inappropriate manner;

  • fails to comply with venue rules or staff directions;

  • is affected by drugs or alcohol; or

  • places the safety, enjoyment or wellbeing of others at risk.

No refunds will be provided to patrons removed from the venue for breaches of these conditions.


Photography and Filming

By entering iceHQ, you consent to being photographed or filmed while at the venue. Images and recordings may be used by iceHQ for promotional, advertising and marketing purposes across print, digital and social media platforms.

If you have concerns regarding photography involving children or young people, please speak with iceHQ staff.


Refunds and Booking Changes

All bookings and ticket purchases are subject to iceHQ’s Refund Policy.

Requests for booking changes may be considered at iceHQ’s discretion and subject to availability. Please contact info@icehq.com.au regarding any booking enquiries.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.


Figure Skating and Coaching

Figure skating training and private coaching may occur during designated sessions. All skaters must remain aware of other rink users and follow staff directions regarding shared rink usage and safety requirements.


Food and Beverage

Outside food and beverages are not permitted within the venue unless required for medical or dietary reasons approved by management.

We invite patrons to enjoy the food and beverages available from the iceHQ café.


Personal Property

iceHQ accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings brought into the venue.


General

Entry into iceHQ constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, all venue policies and any reasonable directions provided by iceHQ staff.
