Ready to join a team?

Brand new players, never played a game before? As long as you can ice skate forward and stop and then skate forward again, you can start your hockey journey in our C2 development division.

Also check our the development training session if you haven’t already.

Not a complete beginner?

If you’ve played any ice or inline hockey before, you’ll be too good for our Div 9 Development division, so you’ll have to find your own team.
Teams are run independently and are in charge of adding and registering their own players, if you want to find a team to join, please join our iceHQ Hockey Players facebook group and make an introductory post with your hockey experience, and which division you think you're looking to join.
Don’t know which division is for you? Niether do we!
Div 9 is the bottom Div 1 is the top, you’ll probably fit somewhere in the middle, watch some games online or better yet in person at the rink. And also get down to some stick n puck and scrimmage sessions, talk to players see where your skills line up.

This season will have grades suitable for ages 15 and up, for beginners through to top level players.

Top level players are also encouraged to enter our Pro Hockey League during the summer, full checking league with the best players in Victoria.

Beer League games are always free to watch at iceHQ and on www.youtube.com/icehq have a look at some streams to see what level you might fit into.
