Aussie Skate Term 2 2024

Aussie Skate at iceHQ is the perfect step for aspiring figure skaters, ice hockey players, and casual skaters looking to improve their skills.
Aussie Skate School is not just for beginners, with levels up to Free Skate 4, even experienced skaters can improve their technique.
Our program caters for ages 4 years and up. Even better, when you enrol, we will group you by age and experience.

  • 30-minute lesson and 30-minute practise time, within the allocated Aussie Skate session times.

  • Your lesson time will be sent the week prior to the term commencing. The reason this cannot be confirmed upon enrolment is due to accommodating all families & time requests for enrolments made BEFORE 11am Friday, 5th April.

  • Where we cannot accommodate your request, we will be in contact via email or phone.

Whats included?

  • Skate hire & protective gear

  • Free public session on day of lesson.

  • 30-minute group lesson & 30 minutes individual practice time.

  • Monday & Saturday students receive 2 free skate passes to use at iceHQ public sessions*
    Please note: Wednesday students receive free passes* due to no practice area between 5pm- 6pm.

  • All free passes are valid from first class of term, and expire the day of your last class.

Monday Term 2 2024

When: Monday 15th of April- Monday 24th of June
Duration: 10-week term (no class Monday 10th June)
Time: Classes are allocated between 5pm - 7pm (30 minute class)

ENROLMENTS ARE NOW CLOSED TO TERM 2 MONDAYS.

TERM 3 ENROLMENTS WILL OPEN TUESDAY THE 25TH OF JUNE.

Wednesday Term 2 2024

When: Wednesday 17th of April- Wednesday 19th of June
Duration: 10-week term
Time: Classes are allocated between 5pm - 6pm (30 minute class)
Levels: Aussie 1 - Aussie 6 Kids & Teens only

Please note: All Wednesday students receive 10 free public skate passes to use throughout term due to no practice area available between 5pm- 6pm.
Not valid for special events, public holidays or private coaching entry.

ENROLMENTS ARE NOW CLOSED TO TERM 2 MONDAYS.

TERM 3 ENROLMENTS WILL OPEN TUESDAY THE 25TH OF JUNE.

Saturday Term 2 2024

When: Saturday 20th of April- Saturday 22nd of June
Duration: 10-week term
Time: Classes are allocated between 9:30am - 11:30am (30 minute class)

Get in early! Enrolments for Term 2 will close at 12pm on the 20th of April.

ENROLMENTS ARE NOW CLOSED TO TERM 2 SATURDAYS.

TERM 3 ENROLMENTS WILL OPEN TUESDAY THE 25TH OF JUNE.

Ice skating Australia Insurance

 
 

All participants enrolled in iceHQ’s Aussie Skate Program must register with Ice Skating Australia.

Registration provides insurance coverage for participants of the program.

Registration is $33 for the first year and $22 renewal each following year while the skater is involved in the program.

Spin and Edge Development

George Galanis is excited to coach iceHQ’s Spin & Edge class.
Assisting in the development of your figure skating journey, George takes you through the importance of stability and structure while giving personalised feedback and getting you to the next step.
