This summer we’re extending the JSL season to give players more games and more opportunities to develop and compete!
During summer, the JSL provides a competitive season for all junior ice hockey players (regardless of winter team affiliations).

Whether you're learning the game for the first time or preparing for the highest levels of junior hockey, the JSL has a division built for you. Four divisions. One pathway. Endless opportunity.
🏒 Junior C - Learn
Mixed - Non Checking
Suited to new and developing young players
🏒 Junior B - Develop
Mixed - Modified Checking
Suited to players ready to increase pace & intensity
🏒 Junior A - Compete
Mixed - Full Checking
Suited to players preparing for elite competition
🏒 Junior Pro - Become a Prospect
Male Only - Full Checking

Victoria’s premier, junior competition for players aspiring to compete at the highest levels of the game
Fast paced, high performance hockey through to 21 years.
💥 Upon registration, all players will be assigned a playing division based on skill, strength, stamina, physique and history in State and National competition.

JSL Registrations
There are 2 registration types:
Early Registration - Until September 6th, 2026
Includes FREE gift and FREE personalised team jersey (conditions apply)
Late Registration - Applicable to all registrations from September 7th, 2026
Incurs a $75 late registration fee
No gift. No free jersey.
Early Registration - $100 Deposit by Sunday 6th September, 2026
Includes FREE JSL Mini Stick (for Junior B & C players)
Includes FREE Personalised Laser Etching on your skate blade (for Junior A & Junior Pro players (conditions apply))
FREE Personalised Jersey (if you’re new or drafted to a different from last year).

Goalies play for free in the JSL!
Please register your expression of interest below.
Due to the increased volume of junior goalies in Victoria, please note that registration does not guarantee a spot on a team.
JSL Uniform Requirements
All players are required to wear the following uniform for all JSL games:
JSL Team jersey
Plain black socks
Plain black padded shorts or JSL cover shorts are preferred. Players must NOT wear cover shorts from different leagues or teams.

JSL Games
All games (for all divisions) will be held on SUNDAYS at iceHQ.
Please refer to the draft JSL Game Fixture.
JSL Training
All JSL Training (for all divisions) will be on TUESDAYS at iceHQ.
Junior C ⏰ 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Junior B ⏰ 7:10pm – 8:10pm
Junior A & Junior Pro ⏰ 8:20pm – 9:20pm
All JSL training sessions are optional and must be purchased separately each term.
Training fees are not included as part of the JSL game fees.

Coaches Expression of Interest
The Junior Summer League (JSL) continues to grow each year, providing a competitive tournament for all Victorian junior ice hockey players over summer.
This year, we're seeking expressions of interest from coaches to join our team for the upcoming 2026 / 2027 season.
The JSL has 4 divisions (Junior A, B, C & Junior Pro), accommodating juniors from all clubs during the summer season.
Junior C
Mixed - 16 games + finals
Junior B
Mixed - 16 games + finals
Junior A
Mixed - 12 games + finals
Junior Pro
Male only - Aged 21 and under - 12 games + finals
Season Information
📆 Round 1 - 11th October 2026 (all divisions)
🏆 Grand Finals - 28th February, 2027 (Junior B & C)
🏆 Grand Finals - 21st March, 2027 (Junior A & Pros)
📍 Location - iceHQ, Reservoir (all games)
💲 Coaching payment - $45 per game
