The hockey fun continues at iceHQ during summer!

Inviting all JSL Junior C & Junior B players to join us for 2 mornings of action packed mini games on the 10th & 11th January 2026. 

📆 Saturday 10th ⏰ 8:15am-11:15am

📆 Sunday 11th ⏰ 7:30am-11:15am

• Fast paced, 20 minute, back to back games in a round robin format.

• Players will be allocated to a ‘showdown team’ upon arrival.

• Rental jerseys will be provided to all players.

• Non checking

• Players line matched by skill

• Exact number of games TBD based on numbers

• Two mornings of non stop hockey fun!

JSL SEASON 2025 / 2026

The Junior Summer League (JSL) is back for another season of ice hockey at iceHQ!! 

We welcome all juniors from all winter clubs to join the JSL for summer! Continuing to grow year after year, the JSL allows you to keep playing competitive hockey and enjoy your summer with family and friends!! 

This season, the JSL will deliver Sunday games across 4 divisions (Junior A, B, C & 21s), a November bye round, Christmas holidays and a season final before the long weekend in March!

The Dogs, Inferno, Snipers & Bruins are back for another season... But this year, we’re revamping all our teams & our team jerseys!

💥 To ensure an even spread of talent across all teams and divisions, players will now be drafted into teams (from scratch) at the beginning of each JSL season, regardless of team affiliations in previous years.

We suggest players can start in Jr C from approximately 8 years old, pending their skills, size and ability to follow coaches instructions.

Team SELECTION

• Upon registration, eligible players will be assigned to an appropriate playing division (Junior C, B, A or 21s) based on skill, strength, stamina, physique and history in State competition. 

• Due to high demand, places are limited in all divisions. 

• Teams will be capped at 15 skaters & a Goalie.

Important Dates

• Round 1 commences Sunday, 19th October, 2025

  • Junior C Games - 6:45am or 8am Sundays

  • Junior B Games - 9:15am or 10:30am Sundays

  • Junior A Games - 4pm or 6:15pm Sundays

  • 21s Games - 5:15pm or 7:25pm Sundays

• JSL Bye Round (all divisions) - Sunday, 23rd November 

• Christmas Break - 19th December - 24th January, 2026 

• Grand Finals - Sunday 1st March, 2026

These jerseys are custom-made with your name and number, and feature our new and improved design for the upcoming season.

• ✅ Jerseys are delivered to iceHQ ready for Round 1 (if registerted by sept 7th)

• ✅ Add your name and preferred numbers upon JSL registration

• ✅ Choose your top 3 preferred numbers (final selection approved by the Hockey Coordinator to avoid duplicates)

• ✅ Supporters can purchase personalised jerseys with any name and number once team lists are finalised, in the link below!

🚨 Missed the Cut-Off?

Players who register after September 7th, 2025 will be assigned a rental jersey for the season, or have the option to purchase their own personalised jersey, at their own cost ($75).

💡 Why the Change?

To ensure a balanced and competitive league, all players will now be drafted into new teams, regardless of previous team affiliations. Players will be assigned to an appropriate playing division (Junior C, B, A or 21s) based on skill, strength, stamina, physique, and history in State-level competition.
This fresh draft model gives everyone a fair shot, allows players to play with different people each season and keeps the season exciting from start to finish!

📋 JSL UNIFORM Policy

• Each time you are drafted to a new team, you’ll receive a complimentary jersey.

• If you remain on the same team from next season onwards, you will continue to wear your current jersey, no new jersey will be issued.

• Additional or replacement jerseys can be purchased separately.

• All players must wear plain black socks, or our new JSL league socks.

TERM 1 ENROLMENTS NOW OPEN!

Open to all registered players, these fast-paced, drill-focused sessions are tailored to each division and designed to boost your skating, puck control, positioning, and overall gameplay. Led by experienced coaches in a supportive environment, it’s the perfect way to level up this season.

tERM 1 Weekly training Schedule

Junior A & 21’S Training

• Tuesdays: 6:10pm - 7:10pm

• Dates: Tuesday, 27th January - Tuesday, 31st March 2026

Junior C & Junior B Training

• Junior C - Thursdays: 6:10pm - 7:10pm

• Junior B - Thursdays: 7:20pm - 8:20pm

• Dates: Thursday, 29th January - Thursday, 2nd April 2026

Optional Training runs during Term 4 and Term 1 2025/2026

Separate registration is required for each term – places are limited.
