Dogs, Snipers & Inferno will return in Tier 2 Women's League 2024! Designed for Junior Summer League and Beer League players not playing PWL., this division welcomes all female-identifying and non-binary players aged 14 years and over.  Players can compete in both a beer league team and a women’s tier 2 team.

The season will be 8 games over 12 rounds with the majority of games played on Friday evenings beginning May 31st, with occasional rounds on Saturdays. Full schedule at https://icehq.hockeysyte.com/season/143 

You may nominate a teammate or express your team preference. Following the PWL draft on the 10th of May, women’s tier 2 division teams will be formed. If you have already joined the PWL Draft, you will need to fill out the Tier 2 EOI if you would like to play in Tier 2 as a backup option.
Tier 2 players will have a chance to advance to the PWL mid-season draft after round 3. Unfortunately with only the 3 teams, positions are limited. A spot in a team is not guaranteed. There won't be a draft skate for tier 2.
Any player in Beer League Division 5 or above are also expected to enter the PWL draft, these players will be eligible to play Tier 2 if not drafted in PWL.

For those selected to play in the women’s tier 2 division, season fees are $349.14 ($340 plus payment method fee) which includes a custom jersey and socks. For our JSL players or 2023 players that already own a team jersey the fees are $277.32 ($270 plus payment method fee). Please allow 2-4 weeks for new jersey orders, rentals will be available during this time only. Payments are required before midnight Thursday the 16th of May.

Insurance is required to play in this league, this is the same product required for beer league available in the hockeysyte store https://icehq.hockeysyte.com/shop If selected, Insurance must be purchased at least 24hrs before your first game. If you're already insured for a Beer League team, you're covered for Winter 2024 and do not need to repurchase for tier 2.
